Kelly will be your point of contact through the process of scheduling your refinishing project.
Kelly began her journey with Perma-Glaze of Texas in 2015 as a continuation of a career dedicated to helping homeowners.
As a teenager, she assisted her uncle with painting houses, which was an excellent foundation for the bathtub refinishing trade. She also spent time throughout her career as a mortgage lender specializing in 203(k) renovation loans, a Realtor, and home staging designer.
She was led to the bathtub refinishing industry while managing renovations for a real estate investor. After hiring refinishing companies that produced low-quality work, she knew that a woman-led refinishing company with a focus on detail and quality was exactly what the Dallas/Fort Worth market needed. She purchased the existing company Perma-Glaze of North Dallas, renamed it, and got to work operating the business as solopreneur. The business quickly grew, and she recruited her oldest daughter, Marissa, to learn the trade. 10 years later, they work as a team to produce the best quality bath and kitchen refinishing experience the DFW Metroplex has to offer.

Marissa is the technician who will be in your home to perform your refinishing service.
Marissa joined her mom in Perma-Glaze of Texas in May of 2016.
Coming from the beauty industry as a medical aesthetician in plastic surgery clinic, she had no experience or knowledge of any kind of refinishing or restoration work and only intended to stick around for a year to help her mom get the business running smoothly.
She quickly fell in love with the trade and has dedicated her career in the subsequent 9 years to learning the art and science behind the craft to provide the longest lasting and most realistic looking refinishing available.

At Perma-Glaze of Texas, we use a high-quality, professional grade fluoropolymer top coat that is rated for 24/7 under water immersion, provides industrial strength durability, and has a depth of gloss that gives the look of kiln-fired porcelain. When this coating is paired with our etching cleaner during prep and our Power-Bond coupling agent is applied before we spray, we can be 100% confident that your old and outdated fixtures will look and perform like new again – no peeling or yellowing.
Dallas Metroplex Refinishing Services
• Bathtubs, Showers, Tile and Sinks – We remove old caulk, clean, etch, repair rust and damage if needed, mask off and drape all necessary areas of the room to avoid overspray, apply our Power-Bond bonding agent, and refinish in our high gloss solid white glaze (custom color options are available) to look brand new. When refinishing is complete, we clean up, remove masking, and re-caulk. Your fixture will be ready for use 12-24 hours after completion.
• Antique Restoration – We follow the above refinishing protocol, adding extra detail to the repair process to bring the antique pieces back to their original glory. The most common pieces we restore are clawfoot tubs and farmhouse sinks.
• Countertops, Bathroom Tile Floors, and Cabinets- For countertops and tile floors, we follow the same refinishing protocol above, exchanging our solid color glaze for Liquid Stone. Our Liquid Stone coating comes in over 30 granite look color options, to coordinate with any color scheme you desire. Liquid Stone is the preferred coating for high-traffic areas like floors and countertops, because it provides exceptional hide and durability.
